DAY 6 UPDATES

Today was the last day at the school. Words can’t describe the emotions that we all felt as we went through the day. We completed the the bathroom wall and roof today. It was amazing to see the finished project and how much something as small as that meant to them. They were truly greatful for what we had done there this week for the school and the church. We spent the afternoon hanging out with the kids for the last time while as we finished up the wall and roofing of the bathroom. The mom and the baby that had the fever came back today and picked up our tent that we had promised her. She had no place to stay since the eathquake hit. We listened to her story for quite a while, it was amazing. She is a monther of 7 and her husband died in the earthquake. She believes and trusts in God and prays everyday. She asked us to continue to pray for her and her family.

We met with people from the school and church in the afternoon and they thanked us for all of the help that we gave them over the course of this week. They were very greatful for what we had done for them and the Hatian people. There were so many emotionsn flowing in the room it is hard to describe in words exactly how we felt. Everyone from the church and our team were all grateful for what went on during the week. The church/school leaders presented us each with a gift from Haiti. This week was a blessing for both the school/chruch and our team. Everyone here in Haiti has welcomed us with open arms.

Tomorrow we are going to get up and go to a local church service here in Haiti and then Tony is going to take us on a tour of Haiti to see a little more of the town that we have not seen in our travels to and from the school.
