Today we attended services in a tent community right outside the place we are staying. We were ministered to in a big way. The service lasted about 3 hours and we were touched. They sang praises with passion and sincerity. As they sang one song in their language I recognized it as, “How Great Thou Art”. I started weeping. If they praise God that way with what little they have, then there is something wrong with me. How I want their faith!
After church we were able to present Bibles On Tape to the pastor of the church and they were greatly appreciated.
After church we visited the downtown area of Port-Au-Prince. It looked like a movie set. What devastation! It is impossible to describe what we saw. Everything is either damaged buildings, rubble or a tent city. Imagine that, just one of those three describe the city.
Between church and our trip to town we were able to interview our team and some of our interpreters. The video of it is very moving. Watch this page on the web. We hope to get it posted soon.
Thanks for prayers and comments. Pray for our journey home tomorrow. We fly out of here at 5pm.
I hope to get one more post out before we get home.

Guys, I am speechless. Thanks so much for your generous hearts and hard work. I am already challenged by the Haitians faith and I haven’t even met them yet. Be safe, love you guys!
What an incredible trip you are having! It is amazing how you are impacting so many of their lives in such a short time. It has been so nice to follow your team throughout the journey! Wishing you a safe flight back to the States!
Much love,
Kelley
Hi Tom! I hope you are in Miami by now. Can’t wait to see you tomorrow. I am so proud of you!
Hey mom and dad!
Glad to hear everything is going well. Eli is doing much better the last few days. Although he was up at 5:30 yelling for mama and dada! We went to lunch after church yesterday and a worker stopped us to tell us that he saw Elijah at mcdonalds last week with dad and that he was the most beautiful baby he had ever seen. He also got to see his Maggie yesterday which made him squeal with delight since she was in Florida. He wouldn’t let her put him down. I hope you have a safe flight. We look forward to see you in a few weeks. All our love.
Eric, Jenny, and Elijah
Hi Dad,
Just wanted to say how very proud of you I am for all that you are doing in Haiti. The blog is really touching. It really makes one thankful and appreicative of all the blessings we have here. Keep up the great work, and be safe. I’ll be praying for you.
