We all are doing well and miss you all. We spent the morning going to the market in Choma. We bought vegetables and other food for our lunch in Maambo tommorrow after church. We also bought a few gifts for our family.
The people of Choma are beautiful. They have so little but their faith is so strong. We have also had time to spend with our hosts, David and Beth Waters. They are from the SE part of Michigan. They went on 17 short term mission trips prior to answering God’s call for them to come here.
The guest house is perfect for us all. It is very clean and comfortable. The men are all learning how to was dishes. Keep praying for Kris as she prepares for her message, it is also her birthday tommorrow! (a big one, I might add)

I hope Kris had a great birthday… did the little cakes make it ok? I heard they were going to celebrate your birthday in a special way! I hope everything went ok yesterday with the message. I think you guys are in Maambo now. I’m praying for you guys and thinking about you all the time. I hope God is really teaching you as well as using you to reach out to those that are there. I’ve been praying fro you all! I wake up each morning wondering what it’s like to walk where you are walking – see the eyes you are gazing into – and knowing that God is working through you to continue bringing hope to so many hurting people.
I know the time will move quickly for you – but in the slow moments – I hope you can take a walk – pray and ask God to mold you as only He can.
I don’t know what kind of roses they have in Zambia, but I pray you stop to smell them all.
A reminder: In prayer, God has given you discernment, authority over all the power of the enemy, and compassion.
