We are boarding the plane to head to Haiti. We will try to keep you as updated as possible after we land.

Just landed safely in Fort Lauderdale. Going to try to get to the hotel and get some sleep.

We are officially sitting on the plane getting ready to take off to head to Florida.

We made it to Detroit and through security. Our flight got delayed 3 hours so we have lots of time to relax before we take off for Florida. Should be leaving around 10:30pm now, it’s going to make for a short night of sleep tonight.

We are packing up the vehicles and heading to Detroit. We will try to keep you updated as much as possible this week as we travel to Haiti.

We’ll be using multiple online feeds to keep everyone updated with the work our Haiti teams will be doing. Continue to follow the Daybreak news site, Twitter, and facebook.

This is the last week to bring in your pop cans in order to help us raise money to help our friends in Haiti.  We are encouraging all Hiptown kids to collect pop cans and bring them this week!  Visit your family and friends and ask if they would give up their pop cans for you to take to Hiptown.

Come this week to Hiptown with your Crazy Hair Styles!  All kids and volunteers in all areas of Hiptown are encouraged to have fun with their Hair this Sunday!

This is all for our February Friendsy, a special month to invite your friends to Hiptown.  Each new child will get a prize just for coming and the small group that brings the most friends through the month of February will have a special prize at the end of the month!
